Day 3:
Comparison Is a thief
“For we are God’s masterpiece”
Ephesians 2:10
Have you ever felt like you were not good enough?
Have you ever looked around at what someone else is doing, or what someone else has,
and compared your journey to theirs?
Maybe you are the senior scrolling social media, wondering if you measure up.
Maybe you are the bride comparing your wedding to someone else’s.
Maybe you are the young woman who so desperately wants a little family of your own. Everyone around you is getting pregnant except you, and you just don’t understand why it isn’t happening for you.
Maybe you are the mom comparing your parenting to others and what you see on Facebook and Instagram.
Maybe some days you feel like a complete failure based on what you see others doing.
No one’s life is perfect.
Comparison whispers lies straight from the enemy.
It says you’re behind.
It says you’re not enough.
It says everyone else is glowing brighter than you are.
But you were never created to replicate someone else’s story.
God does not create everyone’s story the same.
You are His masterpiece, not a copy.
Your timeline is intentional.
Your gifts are unique.
Your season is purposeful.
Stay in your lane.
Bloom where you’re planted.
Trust the process.
The best is yet to come.
Prayer
Lord, guard my heart from comparison. Help me celebrate others without doubting myself. Remind me that I am intentionally and beautifully made. Your timing and Your plan for my life are perfect. Amen.
