Day 2
you Are seen in this season
“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”
Exodus 14:14
Some seasons feel loud.
Deadlines.
Decisions.
Expectations.
Responsibilities.
The high schooler feels the pressure of choosing the “right” path.
The bride feels the weight of planning and preparing.
The mama feels the constant pull of tiny hands needing her ALL THE TIME.
The lady with the cancer diagnosis feels the constant worry and the what ifs.
The woman in a later chapter feels the quiet ache of change while children are grown,
roles are shifting, and a new identity evolving.
Every season carries its own noise.
And sometimes, in all that noise, we wonder
Does God still see me here?
He does.
He sees the high school senior staring at acceptance letters.
He sees the bride lying awake praying her marriage will be strong and not fail.
He sees the mother folding laundry for the third time today, cleaning up spilled milk, or just overwhelmed and overstimulated with the day to day never ending tasks.
He sees the lady fighting cancer with everything in her because she has a family that needs her.
He sees the woman rebuilding after loss or stepping bravely into something new.
He sees the parts no one else applauds or appreciates.
There is something powerful about being still enough to remember: you are not carrying this alone.
Not your future.
Not your family.
Not your fears.
Not your becoming.
You do not have to fight for worth.
You do not have to fight for validation.
You do not have to fight for control.
Sometimes the bravest thing a woman can do is trust that God is working in the unseen
and in this season of life, no matter how hard it seems.
The senior doesn’t have to have it all figured out.
The bride doesn’t have to be perfect.
The mama doesn’t have to do it all.
The lady doesn't have to lose hope.
The seasoned woman doesn’t have to cling to yesterday.
Be still.
He is fighting for you in ways you cannot see yet.
And the same God who carries you through one season will carry you through the next.
"Be Still and know that I am God"
Psalm 46:10
Prayer
Lord, when life feels overwhelming, teach me to be still. Help me trust that You are working even when I can’t see it. Quiet my anxious heart and remind me that I am seen, known, and carried by You. Amen.
