Day 1:
You are still becoming
“Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion”
Philippians 1:6
There is something beautiful about becoming.
The high school senior standing on the edge of graduation, unsure but excited.
The bride stepping into marriage with hopeful expectation.
The mama exhausted at the end of the day, wondering if she’s doing enough.
The woman in a new chapter she didn’t ask for but is learning to walk through.
No matter your season, you are still becoming.
We live in a world that pushes us to “arrive.”
Arrive at success.
Arrive at the perfect body.
Arrive at the perfect home.
Arrive at the perfect life.
But God isn’t rushing you to arrive. He’s shaping you in the becoming.
Your waiting season? It’s shaping you.
Your joyful season? It’s deepening you.
Your hard season? It’s refining you.
Nothing is wasted.
Just like a photograph develops slowly in the right light, your life is being developed in the hands of a faithful God. You may not see the full picture yet, but He does.
If you’re a senior wondering what’s next…
If you’re a bride praying you’ll be enough…
If you’re a mama feeling unseen…
If you’re a woman starting over…
You are not behind.
You are not forgotten.
You are not finished.
You are becoming.
And the One who started your story is still writing it.
Prayer
Lord, help me trust You in the becoming. When I feel rushed, remind me You are patient. When I feel behind, remind me You are purposeful. Shape me, refine me, and grow me into the woman You created me to be. Amen.
